I really appreciate this, Robin. It took a lot to get in the right frame of mind to write this. It took two days and writing and deleting twice as many words as ended up in the final piece. This is a wonderful piece of writing Nicci. I can certainly identify with your perspective on having the privilege of invisibility. We do seem to be in very dark, polarizing times, and I fear for my kids.
