I truly feel called out for having genuinely enjoyed the last ten books I've read without ever telling a single soul how or why I adored each book so much. I guess I have my work cut out for me.

It really is something that could benefit so many authors, especially indie ones!

I too like Harry Styles songs, listen with prejudice for sure. Great picture too. Love your posts refreshingly simple.

Thanks so much, Jon! I do really have an appreciation for Harry Styles--his music, but his person, as well.

So glad you liked Time War! When you revisit, I'd recommend checking out the physical copy if possible! I totally agree, it demands your full attention so it's nice to be able to go back over certain passages. Now I guess I have to check out Silo . . .

I should just buy my own copy! I’m at the library now and was thinking of checking it out, but it’s one of those things I’d like to just have. Again, I don’t say that often!!

I haven't started Silo yet, though I'm dying to. The series is so good, and the trailer looked amazing.

More importantly: This Is How You Lose the Time War is one of the most beautiful books I've ever read. I had to stop and re-read certain passages (with my eyes), and sometimes literally just stop reading for a few minutes, because they were so profound or masterfully written that I needed to marinate a bit. Amazing book.

Bigolas Dickolas is an amazing name btw LOL! Is that Legolas' well-endowed brother?

You have murdered me with that last question. Congratulations, no more Nicci’s Notes. 😂☠️

I’m eager to know if you agree with my about Silo. And glad to know my love affair with Time War wasn’t just a fever dream.
