I am here b/c you make your own almond milk. I enjoyed your writing -- it is heartfelt -- i am mostly retired with a hope/plan to write a book -- all of you superhumans who have already done it inspire me -- I've added you to my read as I can list -- one of those folks who is afraid of too much commitment and more subscriptions than I can manage -- thanks more making me laugh tonight in consideration of the mighty almond.

I get the struggle of managing subscriptions. I've culled some of mine recently that just aren't serving me anymore. I'll happily make you smile with almonds or other tree nuts. Peanuts, however, are a little out of my wheelhouse so don't ask. 🤣 Happy to have you here. You'll see the Wednesday essay is usually a bit more serious or at least cohesive, and the Friday EEE is a bit more entertaining, with entertainment recommendations for your weekend.

That sounds GREAT. I constantly cull my subscriptions trying to keep them to about ten while I have many in the TBR links. I am adopting all sorts of hobbies and writing a Substack and reading Newsletters is just one of them. I don't think I stop reading just have a different schedule so I can be comfy getting to the ones I wish to. There are some abberations in my personality :) -- I have friends who claim to subscribe to 50-100; my head would explode!
